Victoria Hooper
Victoria Hooper is the acquisitions editor and acting editor for Polluto, a Spectrum Fantastic Arts award winning magazine published by Dog Horn. She also edited the 2009 book Crashin' the Real, by Deb Hoag, published by Dog Horn. In between reading other people's stories, articles and poems, she enjoys writing articles about the subjects that interest her, as well as working on her own fiction.
Victoria has a first class degree in Classical Studies from the University of St. Andrews, and has won prizes in both Classics and in Moral Philosophy. She is fascinated by history and other cultures and never tires of learning or talking about them. Her other interests include philosophy, literature, film and TV, religion, theatre and performing arts, science fiction and fantasy, art, and arts and crafts. She loves games of all kinds, spends a lot of time playing video games, and would love to write for roleplay games.
Her favourite book is Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones. It may not be the most intellectual choice but it never fails to cheer her up.
